Fleeting Confidence

Fleeting Confidence is an alternative emo rock band based in Boise, Idaho. Pulling inspiration from bands like Hot Mulligan, Macseal, Origami Angel, Tiny Moving Parts, and Microwave, the band is very in tune with their emo roots. However, they do not hesitate to get goofy; their song, “Do You Think She Wants Me” illustrating their peculiarly introspective humor/sadness mix perfectly.

Formed in late 2022 by friends Gabe Perez and Christien Kurtz, and having met their drummer, Danny Vasquez through a local Facebook musician’s page, the band spent all of 2023 playing shows around Boise, preparing to record their music. Before that, however, they got together with another Boise-based emo band, Amoeba Arena, and released a self-produced split EP called “AAxFC” in November 2024 to widespread approval. This brought them out of the woodwork as a band in Boise, and helped build a foundation for releasing their debut album, “Where I’m At” in February 2025.
